May 17, 2023 - May 20, 2023 – Required Participation Event Dates.
Key Painting Information:
All painting to take place within the City of Mount Pleasant City limits.
Artists will paint in two specified locations throughout the event.
Artists should plan to arrive Wednesday, May 17th and stay until the
event ends Saturday evening, May 20th. A detailed Orientation Packet will be emailed ahead of time.
Artist will choose TWO pieces for judging and up to three additional pieces may be submitted for sale.
All pieces must be framed and wired for hanging.
Maximum painting size is 30"x30", not including the frame. Artists must also submit a small 6"x 6" or 6"x 8" “Small town Tennessee” painting done during the week. All work must be completed on a “2023 Paint The Town” stamped canvas, and produced en plein air, without the assistance of photography or major touch-up.
All exhibited work will be for sale with artist retaining 75% and Mount Pleasant Main Street Association
retaining 25%.
Unsold paintings must be removed by artist at close of Exhibit on Saturday, May 20th by 6:00pm
